PROPOSAL BACKGROUND 
We are in the middle of a pandemic which has affected more than 3 million worldwide. An individual gets infected with the Coronavirus if he touches a surface that an already infected a patient has touched, and then touches his eyes, nose, or mouth with the same hands. We noticed that this proved to be one of the major reasons for Stage 3 of the pandemic to come into action, which is Community Transmission.

The preventative measure for the same involves developing good hand hygiene. It is to be noted that to maintain hand hygiene, touching the surface of a hand wash/sanitizer pump is imperative which was causing further spread in places like hospitals and societies. Also, washing hands with a hand wash would further cause an increase in water utilization, which poses another threat to humanity as a whole.

THE PRODUCT

In order to tackle the problems discussed above, we developed a Hand sanitizer Dispenser Stand. This stand is a mechanical device, where one can press the pedal attached to the stand with one's foot to pump out the sanitizer from the nozzle.
Along with this stand, we have also synthesized our very own sanitizer solution which is 70% alcohol-based, which kills 99.99% non-spore forming bacteria in less than 20 seconds on human skin. Because of its high efficiency, merely 1-1.5 ml sanitizer is required to reduce microbes. In this way we are providing a 100% contactless provision of sanitation, thus reducing the spread of coronavirus.

The sanitizer stand with a 500ml sanitizer bottle and 1L refill pouch comes at Rs 2500/- exclusive of delivery charges. You can also enroll in our subscription model, where a refill pouch will be delivered to your location at regular intervals
